Philosophy of Education

My goal is to teach students how to learn the things they need to learn and how to learn to satisfy their curiosity. As a classically trained educator, I became disenchanted by the art of teaching when introduced to the lecture classroom. I discovered that many students’ educational needs were not being met. So, I shifted my energy to one-on-one and small group learning. In one-on-one and small groups settings students can be properly motivated and gaps in knowledge can be addressed. An experienced tutor can be the most effective resource for academic achievement.
